"I commissioned papercraft artist extraordinaire, Phillip Valdez (Monstrphil on Flickr) to make me an octopus mask based on an illustration of mine for my Halloween costume.

Look how cool it came out!

I knew Phillip was the right dude for the job after having worn some of his work for a shoot with his wife, the amazing photographer Visioluxus. They're surprisingly light weight, especially when you factor in how really solid and durable they are.

He just freehands this stuff! Can you believe it's just paper, glue and paint??

I'm SO happy!"
